Future Essentials Canned Dehydrated Forest Blend is a combination of Shiitake, Porcini, Oyster, Bolete, and Wood Ear mushrooms. This blend has an earthy yet savory flavor and pairs perfectly with meats and fish. It can also be used in sauces, soups and casseroles and makes a delicious addition to Oriental stir-fry recipes.

Suggested Use: Delicious added to vegetables and Asian soups. Chop and mix with bread crumbs for a savory stuffing for grilled vegetables. Add this blend to soups, stir fry dishes, rice dishes, pizzas, and casseroles.

Preparation: Rinse mushrooms under cold running water to remove any possible debris. Rehydrate prior to use. To rehydrate, place desired amount in a bowl and cover with hot water. Soak for 20 to 30 minutes before draining. Or, add directly to recipe that will cook for at least 25 minutes.

In general , 1 oz. dry makes 3 to 4 oz rehydrated.
