Creamy and full flavored mashed potatoes. Idahoan instant mashed potatoes sealed in a can with dessicant and oxygen absorber. They are 100% US Procured and Produced and canned in the last 30 days. Each can is sealed in an oxygen and moisture free environment.
Easy to make just add water, salt, pepper and butter to taste. Top with crumbled Yoder's Bacon and you won't be able to put down your fork.
Basic Preparations: 1 can Yields 8 servings. Boil 3 2/3 cups of Water. Remove Water from heat and mix in Instant Mashed Potato gently. Do not whip. Add salt to taste as well as 4 Tbsp of butter . For creamier mashed potatoes stir in additional water or milk.
Alternative preparation: Heat oven to 450 degrees. Stir potatoes, sauce mix, boiling water, milk and butter in ungreased 1-1/2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered about 20 minutes or until top is golden brown (if you would like the top more golden brown, bake 5 minutes longer potatoes will become softer) and potatoes are tender. Remove from oven (sauce will thicken as it stands).
