Freeze Dried Black Angus Roast Beef

This Freeze Dried Black Angus Roast Beef are about 1/2 inch thick, 5 inch long, and 2-1/2 inches across. This Roast Beef is fully cooked and it has already been trimmed and slow-cooked to 140 degrees. That makes it perfect to take on a hike or a camping trip without the hassle, mess and waste of having to lug a cooler around with a lot of ice. Because it is fully cooked, you can even eat it right out of the can for an amazing tasting, high-protein snack on the go. Get this delicious Freeze Dried Roast Beef exclusively at MREdepot.

This Freeze Dried Roast Beef was manufactured by a large military defense contractor. We just purchased a large lot of this roast beef directly from a Defense Reutilization Office (DRO) Source. Although actual use is always classified on these kinds of bids, our information is that these are purchased for the Executive Branch use, not for our troops in the field. That usually means these go to underground bunkers for continuity of government use by strategic military leaders, congressional members and sometimes even White House staff or leadership. As always, we opened several cans to try these out before we offer them to you, and this roast beef is amazing: tender, boneless, gourmet trimmed, very tasty, and as fresh as the day it was flash frozen and dehydrated!

Preparation: To prepare the roast beef, just soak it in cold or warm tap water for 30 minutes and drain excess water. Then serve like you would serve regular fully cooked roast beef. You can expect 25+ years shelf life as long as the product is sealed in the can - and probably as many as 30 to 40 since there is no water or oxygen in the can to spoil them!!!

Once opened they will last:

up to 1 year in a Zip Lock bag with refrigeration once opened but not re-hydrated
up to 60 days in a zip lock bag without refrigeration once opened, but not re-hydrated
up to 5 days in the fridge once they are re-hydrated.

These are perfect for storing and using for many years! You can have great tasting food in hours with no mess and no waste - and it doesn't matter if the power goes out!! You can open just one can at a time and in just 30 minutes rehydrate one or as many of these as you want!!! Perfect for camping, boating, traveling, or at the cabin.
