Lentil pilaf combines healthy lentils and long grain white rice seasoned with a traditional blend of carrots, onion, garlic and a dash of black pepper for a side dish that makes a great alternative to plain steamed rice. Try serving with your favorite fresh meat for a nutritious and complete meal.
Mixing Instructions:- 2 1/4 cups water
- 1 cup pilaf Bring water to a boil.
Add rice and bring back to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Stir once, after that do not stir. Remove from heat. Cover and let steam for 20 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
