This product makes a great addition to your long term storage foods! You can use it to flavor dozens of dishes. A fantastic addition to everything from rice, casseroles and stews to scrambled eggs, omelets and bread. And let’s not forget baked, mashed, scalloped and fried potatoes!!! Also makes an excellent dip for all kinds of snacks when mixed with water – hot or cold. You can even mix it in with popcorn for a nice seasoning. Made from cultured cream which has been dehydrated down to 5% moisture. This makes this powder shelf-stable.
For more of a sauce just blend 1/4 cup of Sour Cream Powder with 1/2 of water. This would make a 1/2 cup of sauce.
For a thicker paste, cut back on a small amount of water and blend until you reach the desired thickness.
Ingredients: whey, dextrose, nonfat dry milk, sour cream solids (cultured cream, nonfat dry milk), salt, onion powder, monosodium glutamate, cultured nonfat milk solids, food starch-modified, dehydrated parsley, artificial flavor, citric acid, lactic acid, tocopherols and ascorbyl palmitate (added to improve stability).
